I began using Brain Gym® in my own Waldorf classroom in 1983. Now, through thousands of hours of training in all levels of Educational Kinesiology, including promotion to U.S. team leadership in the Masgutova Method. I am National Faculty for Brain Gym International and I am qualified to teach the EduK In-depth: 7 Dimensions of Intelligence course.


When I teach, I draw on years of experiences and study in child and human development and reflex integration. Brain Gym learning activities and the Masgutova Method are useful for people of all ages.

Carla Hannaford's best-selling book, Smart Moves: Why Learning is Not All iin Your Head on the physiclogical basis for Brain Gym® is probably the best-known reference for Educational Kinesiology, more popularly known as Brain Gym. Brain Gym is popular with teachers and parents. Children enjoy the learning activities.

The work is the culmination of many years of study in reading acquisition, learning and movement by Paul Dennison, PhD and later in collaboration with his wife, Gail. Brain Gym, according to the official website describes a specific set of movement activities and exercises, processes, programs, materials, and educational philosophy. Basic Brain Gym includes 26 acitivities that people have found effective to improve: Concentration, Attention and Focus, Memory, Physical coordination, Attitude, Self-responsibility, Organization,  Relationships, Academics and high order thinking skills: reading, writing, math, test-taking
